EXOS Transport Group is the culmination of a dream for its founder, my friend Chris Lee. It is also the product of his experiences in life, both as an innovator in the transportation and logistics industry and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Chris founded EXOS Transport Group in 2015 with the goal of bringing a higher level of reliability, professionalism and versatility to local pickup and delivery services.
Over the past 15 years, he has been responsible for the movement of more than $1 billion in LTL, FTL and international freight with asset-based carriers, full-service freight forwarders, and 3PLs. During this time, he discovered a gap in the market: business customers sorely lacked a service leader focused on providing a superior solution at the local level.
As a former Marine, Chris is like many who have served in our armed forces – he believes if there’s a job to be done, it should be done right, with a sense of urgency and exceptional attention to detail. That’s what EXOS Transport Group delivers to its customers.
EXOS is also committed to hiring veterans. The company developed its “Fleet to Fleet” program to help facilitate opportunities for our veterans and reservists to transition from Uncle Sam’s fleet to EXOS’. Chris created an advisory board of veteran officers and leaders to help us build partnerships with government programs and NPOs to find our heroes employment and provide help in other ways.
